About DevUtils

Who we are

DevUtils is an online toolbox for developers, QA engineers, DevOps and security practitioners. We gather the small utilities you use every day into one site, and we hold on to three principles: fast, clean, and privacy-friendly.

Why we built it

Most existing tool sites share the same problems: intrusive pop-up ads, bloated pages that load slowly, broken mobile layouts, no dark mode, and — most importantly — your input being uploaded to a server.

We wanted a toolbox you can safely keep in your bookmarks bar: open it and use it. No pop-ups. No data uploads.

Technical choices

• 100% client-side computing: every encryption, encoding, conversion and generation routine runs inside your browser. The server only handles account sync and anonymous analytics.
• Static generation + i18n: each tool has its own Chinese and English page, so search engines can crawl the full title, description and FAQ.
• On-demand loading: algorithm libraries are loaded per tool, keeping the JS payload of a single tool page small.
