How to use

What it does

Two parts: convert text to and from ASCII codes (decimal / hex / octal / binary, with a custom separator), and a full printable ASCII table (32–126) you can search by character or code.

Example

On the "Convert" tab, type A and pick hex to get 41. Type 41 42 43 (hex, space-separated) to get ABC back.

On the "Table" tab, type @ to locate it quickly: code 64 (0x40).

Notes

  • Codes are taken per character via charCodeAt and cover ASCII (0–127) only
  • The separator defaults to a space; switch to comma, newline, etc.
  • Search accepts a character, a decimal, or hex like 0x40

FAQ

Q1.Can it convert Chinese characters?
This tool targets ASCII (0–127). Chinese characters have codes above 127 and are out of range; use a dedicated Unicode tool for them.
Q2.What can the separator be?
Any string — space, comma, semicolon or newline. Left blank, it splits on whitespace/comma/semicolon automatically.
Q3.Which characters does the table cover?
Printable ASCII 32–126: space, punctuation, digits, and upper/lower-case letters. Control characters (0–31, 127) are excluded.
Q4.Is my data uploaded?
No. Everything runs inside your browser.
