How to use

What it does

Turn a phrase or variable name into 11 common naming styles in one go. The tool first splits the input into words (handling case boundaries, underscores, hyphens, dots, slashes and spaces, and recognizing acronyms such as HTTPServer → http, server), then re-joins them in the chosen style.

Example

Input user name, userName or USER_NAME — all yield:

camelCase user_name → userName
snake_case USER NAME → user_name
kebab-case → user-name
PascalCase → UserName
CONSTANT_CASE → USER_NAME

Use cases

  • Unify variable naming across JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, etc.
  • Turn a DB column user_id into the frontend userId
  • Generate file names, CSS classes or route paths in different styles

FAQ

Q1.How are acronyms handled?
The tool recognizes a run of capitals followed by a lowercase letter, so `HTTPServer` splits into `http` and `server`, converting correctly to e.g. `http_server` or `httpserver`.
Q2.Which separators are supported?
Spaces, underscores, hyphens, dots, slashes and case boundaries are all treated as word separators and normalized.
Q3.Is my input uploaded?
No. Every conversion happens in your browser, and the tool keeps working offline.
Q4.What is the difference between Train-Case and kebab-case?
Both use hyphens, but Train-Case capitalizes the first letter of each word (e.g. `User-Name`) while kebab-case is all lowercase (e.g. `user-name`).
